John 1: 10
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
Who among us on this earth can say that we have never sinned? Not one of us.
Why?
Romans
3: 23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
How
did we all sin?
When God
created Adam, placed him in the Garden of Eden and gave Eve to him to be his
wife, they were perfect: they had never committed a sinful act. God told them
that they could eat of any tree in the garden, except the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil. Satan, the adversary or opponent of God, convinced Eve that it
was alright to eat of the tree that God told them they shouldn’t eat of.
She did and in turn convinced Adam that it was okay and he ate of the
tree also. It was a problem for Eve when she ate but a problem for everyone else
when Adam ate because he is the root from which we all came. Once the root is
contaminated, every seed that comes from that tree is also contaminated. As a
result, Adam’s sin contaminated or affected the entire human race. (See
Genesis 2-3)
God’s
Solution for Adam’s sin
John
3: 16-17
(16) For God so loved
the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
(17) For God sent not His Son
into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be
saved.
2 Corinthians
5: 17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed
away, behold all things are become new.

A Prayer to
Receive Salvation
Dear God, I
confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died for my
sins. I ask Your forgiveness of my sins and accept Your Son into my life as my
personal Lord and Saviour. I believe that You raised Him from the dead and
because of this; I know that I can live a victorious new life in Christ. Thank
You for my salvation. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Now complete
the process of salvation by being baptized.
Acts
2: 38
..Repent and be baptized … in
the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins….
