Sardis
Rev. 3:1-3
I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Philadelphia
Rev. 3:8-9
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Reward for Overcomers
Rev. 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev. 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

The Open Door
The sign read, "All are
welcome"
The people streamed by, glancing at
the open door, curious but skeptical.
Wanting to know, but afraid of
finding out what was on the other side. They were so comfortable with what
they had and where they were, that the thought of changing sent shivers
down their spines.
A few were a bit more bold and stepped closer to the
open door but dared not step inside.
A stranger came by and questioned
the people, "Why are you all standing outside?" he
asked. With one voice they cried, "Because we do not know what is on the
inside."
"How will you know what
is on the inside?" he asked, "If you do not go and
see?"
The people pondered and whispered among themselves. They had not thought
about that. It was much easier standing outside with the crowd then
moving independently.
One was bold enough and said,
"I'll go." He walked timidly to the door and peeped inside but
could not see anything.
Then he heard a gentle voice say, "Come in
and see." He walked inside and was totally amazed.
There standing
in front of him was none other than Jesus, The Prince of Peace. The door of salvation is opened to
you today. Jesus has put out the welcome mat just for you. Won't you
accept His invitation?
