Mystery
of God
For
I (Paul) do not want you brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery,
lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has
happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. (Romans
11:25)
and
Jerusalem
will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the
Gentiles be fulfilled. (Luke 21:24)

Points to Ponder
Just
as there was a distinction made between the children of Israel and the
people of Egypt from the fifth plague and onwards, there will be a
distinction between the born again believers in Jesus Christ and the
people who did not accept Him as their personal Saviour.
The
children of Israel were not affected by the last six plagues to fall on
Egypt (Ex. 8:20 –12:29)
and
the
born again believers will not be affected by the seven plagues of chapter
16.

Unless otherwise indicated, all scripture references are from the NASB version of the Bible.

Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed
away; behold all things are become new.

THE
SIXTH TRUMPET
& THE SECOND WOE (13-21)
2nd
Woe - 3rd of Mankind Killed
6th
angel sounded his trumpet
-
a
voice from the four horns of the
altar told him to release the four
angels who are bound at the river Euphrates
-
these
angels were prepared for the day and the month and the hour and the
year and were released to kill a third of mankind
-
the
number of the armies of the horsemen was 200 million
-
the
riders had breastplates the colour of fire, hyacinth and brimstone
-
the
heads of the horses are like the heads of lions
-
fire
smoke and brimstone come out
of their mouths
-
a
third of mankind was killed by
these three plagues – fire, smoke
and brimstone
-
the
power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails
-
the
tails of the horses are like snakes and they have heads with which
they do harm
-
THE
REST OF MANKIND WHO WERE NOT KILLED BY THESE PLAGUES
DID NOT REPENT
OF THE WORKS
OF THEIR HANDS. THEY CONTINUED TO WORSHIP DEMONS AND
THE IDOLS OF GOLD, SILVER, BRASS
AND WOOD, WHICH COULDN’T SEE,
HEAR NOR WALK. THEY ALSO DIDN’T REPENT OF THEIR
MURDERS,
SORCERIES,
IMMORALITY NOR THEIR THEFTS.
Revelation
Chapter 10
THE
LITTLE BOOK
A strong angel
came down
from heaven.
-
He
was clothed with a cloud,
-
the
rainbow was upon his head,
-
his
face was like the sun,
-
and
his feet were like pillars of fire.
He
had a little book in his hand, which was open. He placed his right foot
on the sea and his left foot on the land and cried out with a loud voice
that sounded like the voice of a lion when it roars. When he
cried out,
the seven peals of thunder spoke.
After
they had spoken, he
(John)
was
about to write what they said when he heard a voice from heaven telling
him to seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder spoke and not
to write them.
The
angel that John saw standing on
the sea and on the land lifted his right
hand to heaven and swore by God that there would be no more delay and in
the day that the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the
mystery of God would be finished.
